263 million children are out of school. 168 million of them are estimated to be currently involved in child labour – half of them doing dangerous work. 156 million children under five years of age suffer from stunted growth and limited intellectual development. Almost 28 million flee their homes. The figures are quite clear: at least 700 million children around the world have seen their childhood stolen according to the World Report 2016 published by Save the Children.
