This is the case of <strong>Grandparents&#8217; Day<\/strong>, despite the fact that it is the ingredient that gives flavour to families.<\/p>\n<p>At Moneytrans, we do want to highlight that day and for that reason we celebrate and pay their well-deserved tribute to our dear <strong>grandparents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Why July 26th?<\/h2>\n<p>In countries such as Spain, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, Cuba, Honduras, Panama, Venezuela, and Argentina, the Convention adopted the <strong>26th of July<\/strong> as a day to pay tribute to these figures of vital importance in our lives.<\/p>\n<p>The date has not been chosen at random, since 26th July coincides in the Catholic Church&#8217;s calendar with the feast of <strong>Saint Anne and Saint Joachim<\/strong>, the parents of the Virgin Mary and, therefore, the grandparents of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-102092\" src=\"https:\/\/www.moneytrans.eu\/moneytransblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/40\/2021\/04\/grandparents-day-blog-moneytrans-scaled-1.jpeg\" alt=\"grandfather-moneytrans-blog\" width=\"1024\" height=\"680\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But it should be noted that the date of the Grandparents&#8217; day celebration is <strong>not the same around the world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In Chile it is celebrated on October 15th, in Colombia on the third Sunday in August, in Mexico on August 28th, in the United States and Canada on the first Sunday after Labor Day (a holiday that falls on the first Monday in September), in Italy on October 2nd, in Poland on January 22nd and in the United Kingdom on the first Sunday in October.<\/p>\n<p>In certain countries such as France, Grandfather&#8217;s Day and Grandmother&#8217;s Day are celebrated separately on two different dates.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Bringing families and generations together<\/h2>\n<p><strong>When you live abroad<\/strong> and your family is far away, <strong>special days and celebrations<\/strong> bring you a little closer to them.<\/p>\n<p>Cards, poems, family trips, gifts&#8230; Everyone has their own ideas for paying special attention to their grandparents. At the end of the day, it&#8217;s all about thanking them for all their efforts and showing them that, <strong>without them, the family would not be the same<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know that 4 million children in 3 million homes are being raised by their grandparents and would you be surprised to learn that more than 5 million children live in a home with a grandparent present? But have you ever heard of &#8220;<strong>youth of spirit<\/strong>&#8221; or &#8220;<strong>young feelings<\/strong>&#8220;?<\/p>\n<p>The image of aging grandparents, kind, but distant and out of fashion, is being saved in the old photos.
