Since the emergence of Covid19, we have all seen an exponential increase in the use of new technologies. Indeed, this means that more and more job offers are available in this sector and particularly, in the field of cybersecurity. The latter is currently experiencing a shortage of talent that is causing a large number of positions available. This need to recruit has fundamentally changed the recruiter’s expectations. In fact, today, a university-educated candidate can compete very well with someone trained online. As a result, teams are made up of talent from different backgrounds, which allows for a range of viewpoints, approaches and methods to be brought together. Currently, the digital revolution is looking to recruit talent no matter where they come from, as long as they have the necessary skills.<\/p>\n

Different training for different profiles<\/span><\/h2>\n

A major part of what will make up the diversity of your team is their previous background. Indeed, some will have gone to college, while others will have simply completed online training. Indeed, cybersecurity professions require the candidate to have the required skills and place little importance on the path taken to acquire them. Thus, building diverse teams is made easier.<\/p>\n

The attacks are carried out by one or more cyber-terrorists, who themselves demonstrate a high degree of diversity. In fact, their virtual identity allows them to chat with other hackers all over the world and link up according to the attacks. The Internet has no borders. We can compare them to freelance hackers.<\/p>\n

The people who lead cyber-attacks do not have a typical profile. They can come from any part of the world, speak any language and have very different thinking. The only way to maximize your chances of identifying them is to have the right team in place to solve the problem. The more diverse the people you recruit, the more likely you are to identify psychological and behavioral characteristics of the individual. If there is one guideline to follow in this area, it is to be open-minded. Indeed, the more unilaterally you reason, the less likely you are to solve the attack.<\/p>\n

In the same way that diversity serves as a defense against cyber-attacks, it also allows for a more adequate understanding of your customers. Whether it’s languages or different types of technical approaches, having a team rich in diverse talent means you’re more likely to respond exactly to the customer’s request.<\/p>\n
